About IMDI

The Institute for Migration and Development Issues is a nonprofit thinktank that does policy research, advocacy, networking, databanking, and development journalism on international migration and development issues in the Philippines. Now eight years old, the Institute specializes in analyzing the development implications of the overseas migration phenomenon. Its writings also propose means in which the Philippines can maximize the development potentials of migration, as well as promoting the support to the overseas Filipino sector.
